XLIII is one of the most popular roasters we've brought on. They're a seriously nerdy coffee operation based out of Da Nang, Vietnam. This roastery is one of my favorite in the word to work with, from the high quality coffee to the genuinely great people who work there.  These are all available in 100g bags, which is an Airworks exclusive size.

Roast Profile: Ultralight. This is one of the lightest roasters we have brought on. Proper wheatgrass. LET THIS COFFEE REST FOR 8-12 WEEKS BEFORE BREWING! This coffee needs tie for the flavors to come out. It's pretty soluble, so it's fairly easy to brew, just needs time to rest :) They roast on a Giesen, which is one of my favorite roasters. It's hard to find very light roasts on one, so this is a treat!

Why did we bring this coffee on?

Pacamara isn't always my thing, but XLIII roasts them really well. Most of my favorite Pacamaras have come from them. Peru has had an insane year. We've found the quality to be on par or better than what we've tried from Panama this year. Dwight Aguilar has had some killer lots this year, so we are hyped for these!

Tasting notes: Jasmine, lime, ginger

What is a weekly release?

It’s a one off feature with a specific roaster. Weekly releases are separate from the subscription. This way you can try coffee from us without subscribing! We also offer some high end and ultra rare lots through this that we wouldn’t be able to feature on our subscriptions.

Do I need to subscribe to purchase the weekly release?

Nope! Weekly releases can be purchased as standalone coffees, no subscription required.

When will my weekly release order ship?

Shipping timelines vary by roaster and international transit. We send weekly email updates so you always know where your coffee is in the process. Make sure to sign up for our newsletter.

What does “presale” mean?

Our weekly releases are sold before the coffee arrives in the U.S. This allows us to source rare international roasters that don’t normally export here. They are roasted to order and we provide an ETA for each release through our newsletter.
