Our subscription focuses on exploration. We highlight lesser known international roasted and bring coffee to you which you would normally not be able to try without a plane ticket. All roasters we source from are "light roasted", but that exists on a spectrum. While we tend to focus on the lighter end of the spectrum, this ends up being from medium-light (ie Coffee County or John Small) to ultralight (XLIII or Exposure Therapy). We focus on 1 roaster at a time to give you a chance to really evaluate each roaster. For this option, that will include 1 washed coffee, 1 fun coffee and 1 funky coffee.
Each box will contain 3 coffee profiles:
* Clean: The cleanest representation of terroir showcasing the best seasonal coffee. (Process level: 0/5 - 1/5)
* Fun: A wild card of sorts, where you can find anything from high quality naturals and less funky fermentation processes to unique varietals, like Sudan Rume or Chiroso (Process level: 1/5 - 3/5)
* Funk: Truly unique and adventurous flavor profiles. High quality anaerobic and other advanced fermentation processes that push the boundaries of flavor exploration. We still prefer cleaner funk here at airworks, so this often skews to less boozy processed coffee (Process Level: 3/5-5/5
