**Quick note about pricing. This is definitely priced a bit higher than similar green from other roasters. It is 200g, so I think it's fairly reasonable. But Prady (mood trap) buys smaller lots of green and is in general a smaller operation, so he doesn't offer huge discounts. Our margins are always the same, pricing is dependent on the discounts given and other fees :)

Mood trap is an infamous micro roaster from Singapore. He can be a bit polarizing, but he's well known for some of the lightest roasts in the world. His coffee can be pretty hard to get your hands on, and he has been MIA for the past 6 months or so, so this is your best chance to snag some of his beans!

Roast Profile: Ultralight. While not as light as his earliest roasts, his coffees are still extremely light. They usually need 45ish days to rest, and stay good for 6-8 months, In fact, quite a few of his coffees have tasted their best around the 4-5 month mark.

This is a classis washed Ethiopian. We've brought on a handful of Arbegona lots and have enjoyed them. Excited to try his roast of it! He described it as a classic old school washed Ethiopian with tons of citrus and florals.

Tasting Notes: Lemon tart, yuzu, stone fruit, white florals

What is a weekly release?

It’s a one off feature with a specific roaster. Weekly releases are separate from the subscription. This way you can try coffee from us without subscribing! We also offer some high end and ultra rare lots through this that we wouldn’t be able to feature on our subscriptions.

Do I need to subscribe to purchase the weekly release?

Nope! Weekly releases can be purchased as standalone coffees, no subscription required.

When will my weekly release order ship?

Shipping timelines vary by roaster and international transit. We send weekly email updates so you always know where your coffee is in the process. Make sure to sign up for our newsletter.

What does “presale” mean?

Our weekly releases are sold before the coffee arrives in the U.S. This allows us to source rare international roasters that don’t normally export here. They are roasted to order and we provide an ETA for each release through our newsletter.
