Substance - El Burro Washed Gesha - Alto Quiel, Panama - 100g

Substance is one of the most hyped roasters we've worked with. Joachim is hugely influential in the ultralight coffee scene and has inspired a wide range of coffee roasters. He doesn't really do wholesale, so we are very happy to be working with him and showcasing his coffee

Roast Profile:

This is a classic ultralight profile. Kind of right in the middle in terms of development in the UL range. Minmax was very inspired by him, so I'd say that that's a solid comparison for roast. 

Why Did We Bring This Coffee On?

El Burro is one of my favorite geshas. Just an all around classic. When I think of a washed gesha, this is the coffee that comes to mind.
