Substance Cafe - Gicherori Washed - Embu, Kenya - 200g

Substance is one of the most hyped roasters we've worked with. Joachim is hugely influential in the ultralight coffee scene and has inspired a wide range of coffee roasters. He doesn't really do wholesale, so we are very happy to be working with him and showcasing his coffee

Roast Profile:

This is a classic ultralight profile. Kind of right in the middle in terms of development in the UL range. Minmax was very inspired by him, so I'd say that that's a solid comparison for roast. 

Why Did We Bring This Coffee On?

This is a more savory Kenyan, which some people don't like, but it's still a really nice coffee. It's also from my favorite region of Kenya: Embu!
