Sabri (owner of Still) reached out over Discord to send us some samples. We get a lot of requests to send samples, but these coffees aren't always what we're looking for. His coffees, however, were excellent. We met up in The Hague and walked around the city center (with our very distracting kids), talking coffee and food. Still is a perfect example of the kinds of companies I like to work with: emerging micro roasters that are roasting super light (this is especially interesting from The Netherlands, much like with GWO, because most of the coffee there is significantly darker) who are run by good people. Very excited to share this coffee with you!

Roast Profile:

Ultralight. Kind of in the middle in terms of UL roasts. Lighter than Nai Zui but more developed than shoebox. Maybe around Big Sur's level of development, but with a very different presentation (more tea like). But proper UL. I have some samples of his from 5 months ago that are still excellent.

Why Did We Bring This Coffee On?

This coffee is a snapshot of place, grown in the highlands of Tierras Altas, where cool temperatures, rich volcanic soil, and heavy rainfall create ideal conditions for exceptional Geisha. At 1,700 meters above sea level, this lot from Farm Alpes was harvested in February 2025 and processed using a classic washed method, followed by 10 days of slow drying on raised beds to preserve clarity and elegance.

Tasting Notes:  cranberry, citrus, stone fruit, floral, sweet, clean

What is a weekly release?

It’s a one off feature with a specific roaster. Weekly releases are separate from the subscription. This way you can try coffee from us without subscribing! We also offer some high end and ultra rare lots through this that we wouldn’t be able to feature on our subscriptions.

Do I need to subscribe to purchase the weekly release?

Nope! Weekly releases can be purchased as standalone coffees, no subscription required.

When will my weekly release order ship?

Shipping timelines vary by roaster and international transit. We send weekly email updates so you always know where your coffee is in the process. Make sure to sign up for our newsletter.

What does “presale” mean?

Our weekly releases are sold before the coffee arrives in the U.S. This allows us to source rare international roasters that don’t normally export here. They are roasted to order and we provide an ETA for each release through our newsletter.
