Standout was one of the first roasters we worked with and we're happy to bring them back on. They're a well known Swedish roaster with some really interesting sourcing!

Roast Profile: Medium-light. While it is a Nordic roast, it's on the more developed end of that spectrum. Somewhere around Dak/Coffee Collective. The competition lots are lighter, but still in that Nordic realm.

Why did we bring this coffee on?

Costa Rican coffees can be hit or miss for me, but this is an interesting varietal, so it caught my eye! It's a cross of Sudan Rume and Sarchimor. We've tried a few of these Sudan Rume crosses before and they are pretty interesting!

It’s a one off feature with a specific roaster. Weekly releases are separate from the subscription. This way you can try coffee from us without subscribing! We also offer some high end and ultra rare lots through this that we wouldn’t be able to feature on our subscriptions.

Nope! Weekly releases can be purchased as standalone coffees, no subscription required.

What does “presale” mean?

Our weekly releases are sold before the coffee arrives in the U.S. This allows us to source rare international roasters that don’t normally export here. They are roasted to order and we provide an ETA for each release through our newsletter.
