Scenery is my favorite UK roaster. I really love their roast profile and sourcing. They bring out some very unique characteristics from each coffee they bring on and source some really interesting lots. Always a treat to have them on deck!

Roast Profile: Between light and ultralight. Not roasty, but does better when it's pushed a bit less. They roast on a Loring and really highlight fruit notes and sweetness in a unique way. I recommend checking out their roast guide. It's more or less how I brew their coffee. More so than other roasters, I've found that their coffees need a long bloom and less agitation overall to bring out the best of their coffee

Why did we bring this coffee on?

We had last year's harvest of this coffee from Scenery and it was one of the best coffees we had last year. Crazy good coffee. We only had a sample of it and were kicking ourselves for not buying more. When we found out they had more, we ended up securing most of their lot. This coffee is hype, so don't miss!

A world exclusive lot + FRESH CROP - this is the only honey Mario produced this season, entirely for us - using the protocol he has been developing for his Ecuador CoE entries.
We've been working with Mario for nearly 8 years, and this is the third harvest we've featured with Scenery. We see this lot as a celebration of that collaboration, and potentially one of the best coffees we've had from him El Meridiano yet!

What is a weekly release?

It’s a one off feature with a specific roaster. Weekly releases are separate from the subscription. This way you can try coffee from us without subscribing! We also offer some high end and ultra rare lots through this that we wouldn’t be able to feature on our subscriptions.

Do I need to subscribe to purchase the weekly release?

Nope! Weekly releases can be purchased as standalone coffees, no subscription required.

When will my weekly release order ship?

Shipping timelines vary by roaster and international transit. We send weekly email updates so you always know where your coffee is in the process. Make sure to sign up for our newsletter.

What does “presale” mean?

Our weekly releases are sold before the coffee arrives in the U.S. This allows us to source rare international roasters that don’t normally export here. They are roasted to order and we provide an ETA for each release through our newsletter.
