This release has been cooking for a LONG time. We've been trying to get ahold of Prairie Lily's coffees for over a year, but he can be a bit difficult to secure coffee from. There is some serious lore about this roaster, a long time favorite for those in the know in Canada. Everyone I talk to seems to have some crazy story about him, but everyone agrees that he's one of the best (if not the best) roasters in Canada. A customer ended up reaching out to us for a multi part collab and this has been in the works since July. Things finally worked out and the coffee is now here! We also added some

Roast Profile: Near ultralight. The lightest roaster we've tried from Canada outside of September's ELs. Great presentation of flavors. If you had my first exclusive with Mood Trap (the natural gesha not the Ethiopian), the presentation is kind of similar. It's roasted for high solubility, but improves exponentially with longer rests. Terry recommended 10 weeks for his coffees.

What coffees are included in this release?

All coffees are 50g!

  1. Janson Natural Green Tip Gesha Lot 926 - Panama
  2. Janson Natural Green Tip Gesha Lot 913 - Panama
  3. Janson Natural Green Tip Gesha Lot 1059 - Panama
He provided us with very little details on all these coffees, but he gets some crazy good Janson lots. We love Janson's coffees and his naturals are always very clean and delicious, so we ordered some of all of his lots

  4. Brian Quan x Airworks x Raybot x Prairie Lily Collab - ACUII Sicayang Natural ASD Gesha - Mt. Apo, Philippines
This is the real star of the release. This is from the first Filipino grown gesha harvest. Raybot saw all the hype surrounding this green (we saw it too, just didn't find any roasters with it that we wanted to bring on. It was also incredibly limited) and decided to try to bring some to North America. He ended up buying some of the last of this coffee available and sent it to Prairie Lily to roast. He then reach out to me & BQ to get us to release this as a collab. Hockey season got in the way (I think Terry from Prairie is a hockey coach if I'm getting my lore right haha) and things ended up delayed. When I had given up hope on this release, Terry reached back out and said we were still on! This is the last of this coffee in the world and likely the lightest roast of it. This is very limited, so get it before it's gone!
  5. Mikava Reserva 6 Day CM Gesha - Santuario, Colombia
Mikava is an interesting producer. Kind of processy Colombian gesha vibes (a la Diego), but a bit cleaner and with more complexity. This one is a really long ferment, but we've heard good things about it and have had some great Mikava from Datura.
  6. Lamastus Aguacate Natural Gesha - Panama
Aguacate is my favorite plot from Lamastus. There's some super complex florals that I get from most coffees from this farm. Terry recommended this one to me, so I picked it up.

  7. Mt. Totumas Cold Ferment Natural Gesha - Panama
Very hyped for this. Mt. Totumas is one of my favorite farms in the world, and their cold ferments are out of this world. Super complex, fruit forward, high florals and very clean. He only told me about this coffee after chatting a bit about what Panama coffees I like and we promptly added some to our order

What is a weekly release?

It’s a one off feature with a specific roaster. Weekly releases are separate from the subscription. This way you can try coffee from us without subscribing! We also offer some high end and ultra rare lots through this that we wouldn’t be able to feature on our subscriptions.

Do I need to subscribe to purchase the weekly release?

Nope! Weekly releases can be purchased as standalone coffees, no subscription required.

When will my weekly release order ship?

Shipping timelines vary by roaster and international transit. We send weekly email updates so you always know where your coffee is in the process. Make sure to sign up for our newsletter.

What does “presale” mean?

Our weekly releases are sold before the coffee arrives in the U.S. This allows us to source rare international roasters that don’t normally export here. They are roasted to order and we provide an ETA for each release through our newsletter.
