Ordinary is newer roaster from Germany that we have heard a lot of on Discord. They are roasting really light, which is very hard to find in Germany! We love working with roasters pushing super light roasting in countries that aren't known for it, so we were instantly interested. They have a fun mix of washed and processed coffees and we can't wait to share them with you!

Roast Profile: Light-UL. Some of their coffees have an UL profile, whereas some have a profile more on par with Scenery's roasting (so pretty light, but not quite UL). All of their washed coffees will be UL, where more processed offerings will be a light roast.

Why did we bring this coffee on?

Nestor Lasso coffees are always fun and funky. Definitely have to go in expecting a lot of funk, but I really love some of their coffees. This is cleaner than some of their crazier coffees, so expect a fruit bomb of a coffee that isn't too funk forward

It’s a one off feature with a specific roaster. Weekly releases are separate from the subscription. This way you can try coffee from us without subscribing! We also offer some high end and ultra rare lots through this that we wouldn’t be able to feature on our subscriptions.

Do I need to subscribe to purchase the weekly release?

Nope! Weekly releases can be purchased as standalone coffees, no subscription required.

When will my weekly release order ship?

Shipping timelines vary by roaster and international transit. We send weekly email updates so you always know where your coffee is in the process. Make sure to sign up for our newsletter.

What does “presale” mean?

Our weekly releases are sold before the coffee arrives in the U.S. This allows us to source rare international roasters that don’t normally export here. They are roasted to order and we provide an ETA for each release through our newsletter.
