Onibus is a well established roaster based in Japan - I don’t have a lot of experience with them, but I’ve heard very good things about them!

Roast Profile: Japanese Light. Roasted for sweetness, but not roasty with lower EY brews.

Why did we bring this coffee on?

April 2025: Locally sourced lot. This coffee offers the rich, full-bodied character of red grapes, along with the tropical fruit and white peach notes typical of Pacamara. Produced by COE award-winning grower Fito Montiel, this clean, complex cup is the result of a rich natural environment and meticulous processing.

Our weekly releases are sold before the coffee arrives in the U.S. This allows us to source rare international roasters that don’t normally export here. They are roasted to order and we provide an ETA for each release through our newsletter.
