Bio: Halp posted on Bana about a coffee that they released from Eswatini, a small country in Africa that I personally had no idea produced coffee.

In addition to this really unique coffee, they have some pretty interesting coffees, including an auction lot from Kenya, a processed Adaura lot, some cleaner Ethiopian and Colombian lots, and a few higher processed Colombian lots. All in all, there is a lot of interesting green from this release. Most of it is more limited than a majority of our releases.

Roast Profile: Their roasting is somewhere in the ‘Japanese light roast' end of things, which I find fairly comparable to Botz.

Why did we bring this coffee on?

Beware! This coffee has a lot of flavor! I'm honestly kinda scared of this coffee. I've never seen hyper funky as a note on a coffee. Honestly, wasn't really planning on bringing it on, but I think it’s fun to have a 5/5 funk kinda coffee on every once in a while. It is heavily processed and is a unique tasting variety as well. Definitely going to be an Experience!

Tasting Notes: Grape Cider, Cherry Coke, Raspberry, Raisin, Prune, Hyper Funky

What is a weekly release?

It’s a one off feature with a specific roaster. Weekly releases are separate from the subscription. This way you can try coffee from us without subscribing! We also offer some high end and ultra rare lots through this that we wouldn’t be able to feature on our subscriptions.

Do I need to subscribe to purchase the weekly release?

Nope! Weekly releases can be purchased as standalone coffees, no subscription required.

When will my weekly release order ship?

Shipping timelines vary by roaster and international transit. We send weekly email updates so you always know where your coffee is in the process. Make sure to sign up for our newsletter.

What does “presale” mean?

Our weekly releases are sold before the coffee arrives in the U.S. This allows us to source rare international roasters that don’t normally export here. They are roasted to order and we provide an ETA for each release through our newsletter.
