Nai Zui is a newer Chinese light roaster. They are very well regarded in the Chinese market, and I'm super excited to be working with them!

Roast Profile: Ultralight. Comparable roast level to Big Sur. They actually share a lot of similarities with Big Sur and even buy green from them. Some of the lots we are binging on were bought from them. They roast on a Stronghold (Big Sur roasts on a Loring), so the profile is a bit different.

I brought this same green on from Big Sur, and it was probably my favorite coffee from them. Just a really great example of a washed Ethiopian. Very balanced, with a high sweetness and lots of florals. I'm excited to try a different roast of it!

What does “presale” mean?

Our weekly releases are sold before the coffee arrives in the U.S. This allows us to source rare international roasters that don’t normally export here. They are roasted to order and we provide an ETA for each release through our newsletter.
