We have wanted to work with Yelei lab for a long time but have not been able to grab any coffees from them. They are very difficult to source, since they are in very high demand locally and are always in very limited quantities. Great example of the micro roasting scene in China (along with Tskui, He Dou, Joe and a few other roasters I'm trying to bring on!).

Roast Profile: Lighter. Yelei Lab is noticeably lighter than Moby Dick. Still roasted on a Probat, Not UL, but a pretty light roast!

Why did we bring this coffee on?

A bundle (not a taster set) of 5x of the cleaner coffees from this release. For this set, we included:

What is a weekly release?

It’s a one off feature with a specific roaster. Weekly releases are separate from the subscription. This way you can try coffee from us without subscribing! We also offer some high end and ultra rare lots through this that we wouldn’t be able to feature on our subscriptions.

Do I need to subscribe to purchase the weekly release?

Nope! Weekly releases can be purchased as standalone coffees, no subscription required.

When will my weekly release order ship?

Shipping timelines vary by roaster and international transit. We send weekly email updates so you always know where your coffee is in the process. Make sure to sign up for our newsletter.

What does “presale” mean?

Our weekly releases are sold before the coffee arrives in the U.S. This allows us to source rare international roasters that don’t normally export here. They are roasted to order and we provide an ETA for each release through our newsletter.
