Bio: This is our first time working with Killbean, but we are very excited for this collab! We had someone on discord ask about them recently and we dug around to find more info on them. They are roasting very light, which is hard to find in the UK and they have some super interesting lots, with a focus on unique origins and naturals.

Roast Profile: Extra Light (close to UL, but not quite). Similar to Scenery’s extra light.

Rest Recommendation: They recommend resting their coffee for 8-12 weeks, but 6 weeks is likely a good start.

Why did we bring this coffee on?

Produced by Andres Torres at 1682m, this Red Geisha Natural from Santa Teresa is one of the most vibrant Peruvian coffees we’ve tasted this season.

The cup is bright and expressive, showing vivid citrus acidity layered with ripe strawberry sweetness and a juicy, transparent texture throughout.
Clean, energetic and highly drinkable — while still carrying the floral elegance expected from Geisha.

A more playful and fruit-forward expression of Peru.

Tasting Notes: Citrus, Strawberry, Bright and Juicy

What is a weekly release?

It’s a one off feature with a specific roaster. Weekly releases are separate from the subscription. This way you can try coffee from us without subscribing! We also offer some high end and ultra rare lots through this that we wouldn’t be able to feature on our subscriptions.

Do I need to subscribe to purchase the weekly release?

Nope! Weekly releases can be purchased as standalone coffees, no subscription required.

When will my weekly release order ship?

Shipping timelines vary by roaster and international transit. We send weekly email updates so you always know where your coffee is in the process. Make sure to sign up for our newsletter.

What does “presale” mean?

Our weekly releases are sold before the coffee arrives in the U.S. This allows us to source rare international roasters that don’t normally export here. They are roasted to order and we provide an ETA for each release through our newsletter.
