Coffee

Bio: Hatch is one of the most well known Canadian coffee roasters. They've been on our radar since they dropped the first Hachi line up, which was stellar. Their head of coffee, Boris, reached out to us to plan a release together and we are thrilled to be working together!

Roast Profile: Light. Not ul, but not medium. In that ‘American’/’Canadian’ light roast level.

Rest Recommendation: ~3 weeks

Why did we bring this coffee on?

We worked with their head of coffee, Boris, to choose a really fun washed Bourbon Aruzi from Hachi Coffee Project’s farm in Colombia! We usually prefer their Panama farm as their Colombian lot can be a bit more varied in terms of quality for us, but this one is an excellent lot that we are excited to share with you! Super sweet, almost like a cross between Caturra & Pink Bourbon. This is an excellent lot of a cool variety that I don't see as often. We have a few more fun hachi coffee releases planned, so keep an eye out for them!

Tasting Notes: Elderflower, Hibiscus, Apple, Sugarcane

What is a weekly release?

It’s a one off feature with a specific roaster. Weekly releases are separate from the subscription. This way you can try coffee from us without subscribing! We also offer some high end and ultra rare lots through this that we wouldn’t be able to feature on our subscriptions.

Do I need to subscribe to purchase the weekly release?

Nope! Weekly releases can be purchased as standalone coffees, no subscription required.

When will my weekly release order ship?

Shipping timelines vary by roaster and international transit. We send weekly email updates so you always know where your coffee is in the process. Make sure to sign up for our newsletter.

What does “presale” mean?

Our weekly releases are sold before the coffee arrives in the U.S. This allows us to source rare international roasters that don’t normally export here. They are roasted to order and we provide an ETA for each release through our newsletter.
