Frukt coffee was a roaster that I really liked when I lived in Europe. They have some fun sourcing and are a great Nordic coffee roaster. Very hyped about their current offerings from Benjamin Paz!

Roast Profile:

Frukt's roast profile is very much a Nordic roast. To me, that means a high heat, quick roast that brings out sweetness without presenting roasty notes (as long as you brew it with lower EY brews). They roast on a Loring.

Why Did We Bring This Coffee On?

We got this one for a tasting that didn't end up happening! We never listed on the site!

"Fantastic Washed Pacas lot produced by Mario Moreno at the farm Piedras Amarillas, in Santa Barbara, Honduras. Mario Moreno is a producer we feature every season. His Pacas is always a standout coffee for us every year. Very complex, clean and bright Washed coffee that is nuanced and aromatic. Very high quality every year. Ripe stone fruit forward profile with high sweetness, bight acidity, great mouthfeel and nicely layered cup."

Tasting Notes: apricot and peach

What is a weekly release?

It’s a one off feature with a specific roaster. Weekly releases are separate from the subscription. This way you can try coffee from us without subscribing! We also offer some high end and ultra rare lots through this that we wouldn’t be able to feature on our subscriptions.

Do I need to subscribe to purchase the weekly release?

Nope! Weekly releases can be purchased as standalone coffees, no subscription required.

When will my weekly release order ship?

Shipping timelines vary by roaster and international transit. We send weekly email updates so you always know where your coffee is in the process. Make sure to sign up for our newsletter.

What does “presale” mean?

Our weekly releases are sold before the coffee arrives in the U.S. This allows us to source rare international roasters that don’t normally export here. They are roasted to order and we provide an ETA for each release through our newsletter.
