It's been a while since we worked with Friedhats and we are thrilled to bring them back on! When we first announced, they stopped shipping to the US for a while, but since they brought it back, we've been meaning to bring them back on. This line up is seriously crazy, so this is a perfect time to bring them back on! They're known for their fun packaging and fun coffees, often featuring fun origins and processes.

Roast profile: Similar to Dak, which I would call medium - light. They roast on a Probat, so it's a different presentation. I've always enjoyed the profile that you get off a Probat.

Rest recommendation: 3 weeks or so

We chose 5x coffees that we were very excited for to offer in this taster set. This set showcases a wide spectrum of coffees from Friedhats and is perfect for trying them out without commiting to a full bag of coffee!

What is a weekly release?

It’s a one off feature with a specific roaster. Weekly releases are separate from the subscription. This way you can try coffee from us without subscribing! We also offer some high end and ultra rare lots through this that we wouldn’t be able to feature on our subscriptions.

Do I need to subscribe to purchase the weekly release?

Nope! Weekly releases can be purchased as standalone coffees, no subscription required.

When will my weekly release order ship?

Shipping timelines vary by roaster and international transit. We send weekly email updates so you always know where your coffee is in the process. Make sure to sign up for our newsletter.

What does “presale” mean?

Our weekly releases are sold before the coffee arrives in the U.S. This allows us to source rare international roasters that don’t normally export here. They are roasted to order and we provide an ETA for each release through our newsletter.
