Datura - CGLE Hybrid Washed Sudan Rume - Valle de Cauca, Colombia - 100g

Datura is one of the roasters that I bring on the most. I really like their roasting and sourcing. Everything we've had, from high end Panama lots to more 'standard' African lots have been top notch!

Roast Profile: On the slightly more developed end of ultralight (somewhere between Nordic and UL). They roast on a Stronghold S07. Kinda similar to Gout & Co's roast level, but a different presentation of flavor. Still recommend at least 4 weeks (but probably 5-6 weeks) of rest for this one!

Why did we bring this coffee on?

"This Sudan Rume Hybrid Washed is bright, juicy, and full of aromatic complexity. It opens on honeydew and lemon, carried by a sparkling acidity that gives the cup energy and clarity. Floral notes bring elegance, while a touch of eucalyptus adds freshness. The mouthfeel is light and flowing, the finish long, clear, and gently aromatic."

This is another well done hybrid washed coffee. This is my favorite roast of the green and is a truly special coffee. Very well done!
