Coffee Selection

Bio: Dak was actually one of the first roasters I worked with. They were the first wholesale account I had and they were featured on my first drop. I worked at a shop in Seattle that carried them often. They're well known for more processed coffees, like Milky Cake, but do a nice job with more clean lots as well.

Roast Profile: Dak roasts on the medium-light side of things. Similar to Friedhats or Tanat (formally Kawa). They roast on an IMF.

Rest Recommendation: 2-4 weeks

What is a weekly release?

It’s a one off feature with a specific roaster. Weekly releases are separate from the subscription. This way you can try coffee from us without subscribing! We also offer some high end and ultra rare lots through this that we wouldn’t be able to feature on our subscriptions.

Do I need to subscribe to purchase the weekly release?

Nope! Weekly releases can be purchased as standalone coffees, no subscription required.

When will my weekly release order ship?

Shipping timelines vary by roaster and international transit. We send weekly email updates so you always know where your coffee is in the process. Make sure to sign up for our newsletter.

What does “presale” mean?

Our weekly releases are sold before the coffee arrives in the U.S. This allows us to source rare international roasters that don’t normally export here. They are roasted to order and we provide an ETA for each release through our newsletter.
