Dak was actually one of the first roasters I worked with. They were the first wholesale account I had and they were featured on my first drop. I worked at a shop in Seattle that carried them often. They're well known for more processed coffees, like Milky Cake, but do a nice job with more clean lots as well.

Roast Profile:

Dak roasts on the medium-light side of things. Similar to Friedhats or Tanat (formally Kawa). They roast on an IMF.

Why Did We Bring This Coffee On?

Cranberry Lane is a natural Kenyan lot produced at Endebess Estate in Trans-Nzoia County, on the western slopes of Mount Elgon. This is a rare Kenyan natural, offering a vibrant and layered cup with tasting notes of cranberries, blood orange, oolong, and cacao nibs. Bright, structured, and gently complex.

What is a weekly release?

It’s a one off feature with a specific roaster. Weekly releases are separate from the subscription. This way you can try coffee from us without subscribing! We also offer some high end and ultra rare lots through this that we wouldn’t be able to feature on our subscriptions.
