Bio: We first heard about Anamorphic on discord when Dweller, an ultra wheatgrass enjoyer from AU, was hyping them up. We've featured them on both our UL and og/washed sub and have loved the coffees we've tried from them. They've quickly become our favorite Aussie roaster, and we thoroughly enjoy working with them! They're a great team of passionate people and their coffee is top notch!

Roast profile: Approachable ultralight. I'd consider them UL, but their coffee is pretty soluble and easy to brew. You don't need to push it super hard to get great cups. Really nice profile on the more developed end of the ultralight spectrum

Rest Recommendation: 5-6 weeks

Why did we bring this coffee on?

Despite this lengthy anaerobic fermentation, this coffee presents with no funkiness or ferment vibes. This is a loud and juicy coffee, with Peachy stone fruit on the nose. When hot there is floral Bergamot, and lovely Finger Lime and lime leaf. Super tart in the cup with juicy citric acidity, as the coffee cools the lime takes over. This is the very first new season Ethiopian coffee to arrive in Australia!

Tasting Notes: Peach, Bergamot, Finger Lime

What is a weekly release?

It’s a one off feature with a specific roaster. Weekly releases are separate from the subscription. This way you can try coffee from us without subscribing! We also offer some high end and ultra rare lots through this that we wouldn’t be able to feature on our subscriptions.

Do I need to subscribe to purchase the weekly release?

Nope! Weekly releases can be purchased as standalone coffees, no subscription required.

When will my weekly release order ship?

Shipping timelines vary by roaster and international transit. We send weekly email updates so you always know where your coffee is in the process. Make sure to sign up for our newsletter.

What does “presale” mean?

Our weekly releases are sold before the coffee arrives in the U.S. This allows us to source rare international roasters that don’t normally export here. They are roasted to order and we provide an ETA for each release through our newsletter.
