The Picky Chemist - La Esmeralda El Velo Washed Gesha

The Picky Chemist is one of my favorite roasters in the world. There is a lot of hype surrounding his drops, and now that he doesn't ship to the US, we are dying for more of his coffee lol

Roast Profile: ultralight. He roasts on a stronghold and has a very light profile. Not quite as light as XLIII or Shoebox, but still decidedly UL with a solid intensity of flavor. My favorite Stronghold profiles.

Why did we bring this coffee on?

I feel like it's obvious... but really we are very excited for this coffee. I love Esmeralda and am very interested to try his roast of it. Stephane told me that Esmeralda is his favorite Panama producer and has pretty much been exclusively buying Panama lots from them. He is one of my favorite roasters in the world (and just a really sweet guy), so always happy to have his coffee on here :)
