The Picky Chemist - Gitesi Washed Red Bourbon - Karongi, Rwanda - 125g

The Picky Chemist is one of my favorite roasters in the world. There is a lot of hype surrounding his drops, but we feel that it's very justified. Stephane has a full time job, and this is really only a passion project for him. We're huge fans of his work and are always thrilled to be working with him.

Roast Profile: ultralight. He roasts on a stronghold and has a very light profile. Not quite as light as XLIII or Shoebox, but still decidedly UL with a solid intensity of flavor. My favorite Stronghold profile.

Why did we bring this coffee on?

Rwandans are some of our favorite coffees in the world, and Gitesi is an excellent washing station. Last year, Exposure Therapy's roast of Gitesi was one of our top 5 favorites of the year. Very excited to try Stephane's roast of it!
