Substance is one of the most hyped roasters we've worked with. Joachim is hugely influential in the ultralight coffee scene and has inspired a wide range of coffee roasters. He doesn't really do wholesale, so we are very happy to be working with him and showcasing his coffee

Roast Profile:

This is a classic ultralight profile. Kind of right in the middle in terms of development in the UL range. Minmax was very inspired by him, so I'd say that that's a solid comparison for roast. 

Why Did We Bring This Coffee On?

This coffee was hyper limited! The initial release was only 8x bags. This one was slightly more bags, but it is still very limited. This was one of the better Substance coffee I've tried.

Tasting Notes: Jasmine, bergamot, juicy, complex
