September - Kamogo Culture Washed SL-14/SL-28 - Mt. Elgon, Uganda - 250g

September is one of our favorite roasters in North America. I've been buying from him for a long time now, and am really excited to feature this release!

Roast Profile: This coffee will be roasted on their "medium light" profile. This is better suited for traditional spro. They roast on a Loring.

Why did we bring this coffee on?

This coffee is better suited for trad spro than it is for pourover, but it's interesting, which is why I brought it on. You hardly see Ugandan coffee in the US, so I wanted to bring this one on for that. 

"This is our first time featuring a coffee from Uganda, and as such it's the first time featuring Kamogo. This is a newer coffee project as of 2024 from producer Benjamin Jenkin of Cahoots coffee. This coffee is complex with a deep sweetness and soft acidity that makes for a comfortable, complex and balanced cup. Profiled for light espresso but clean and balanced for all brew methods."
