September - Fincas Del Putushio - Jose Jijon Washed Mejorado - Lojas, Ecuador- 200g

September is one of our favorite roasters in North America. I've been buying from him for a long time now, and am really excited to feature this release!

Roast Profile: Extra light. This coffee will be roasted on their "extra light" profile. Their EL has meant different things at different times, but currently it's just a bit lighter than their standard roast and is kind of a perfect middle point between ultralights and light roasts. I find it pretty soluble and easy to brew but with no perceivable roast. They roast on a Loring.

Why did we bring this coffee on?

Mejorados are one of my favorite varietals and the ones I've had from this farm have been exceptional. Lojas is a standout region for me and I have always preferred this farm to Finca Soledad. Honestly, just a perfect example of the terroir and varietal. And great to compare with the Arashi if you got that one!
