20grams - Chevas Coffee Estate Washed Typica- El Salto, Panama - 200g

20grams is a roaster we've been wanting to work with for a while now. They are one of the most well known roasters in Singapore and are well known for their Nordic style roasting and good sourcing, Exposure Therapy has said that they were part of his inspiration for his roastery.

Roast Profile: Nordic Light. Honestly a perfect example of Nordic light roasting. Similar to TW or Frukt, but a bit lighter.

Why did we bring this coffee on?

Really excited for this one! I love trying non gesha coffees from Panama producers, and I'm a big fan of Chevas. Typicas are an old world variety. They may not be my favorite variety, but I am always interested in good examples of them. They usually have a nice sweetness and a sweet and well rounded acidity. They can lack a bit of complexity and definition, but are still quite enjoyable. The few we've tried from Panama have been our favorite examples of the variety.
