Their sales rep reached out last year, but we tariff issues at the time were making samples from China difficult. We finally made it happen, and I was pretty impressed by the coffees. I tried a wide range of their offerings, from Ethiopian lots to Finca Sophia and enjoyed all of them. Their Panama lots were roasted a bit lighter, but all of them were good. Around Hydrangea's level of development, but with a stronger focus on sweetness. To me it presented similarly to the way John Small roasts, but with a lighter development similar to Hydrangea or Gout \u0026amp; Co. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s2\"\u003eWhy did we bring this coffee on?\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003e Esmeralda was the first farm to grow geshas and they remain a quintessential representation of a washed panama gesha.
