One Half - Los Rodgriguez Coco natural Caturra, Caranavi, Bolivia - 100g

One Half was opened by 3 time Malaysia Barista Champion Keith Koayis and is one of the most well known specialty roasters from Malaysia. The source some really awesome coffees and do a great job roasting them. Their roasting style is kind of between John Small and Wes Ngopi (maybe Botz would be a good US comparison?)

Fans of the Fig Twist from Dak will definitely enjoy this one! Los Rodriguez is my favorite producer in Bolivia. They operate multiple farms and always have something interesting going on. This coco natural is one of those things. It's a process that they invented where they dry the coffee cherry in a cocoa dryer. This process dehydrates the cherry instead of drying it and results in a very unique, clean profile. I was told by the roasters that they have worked with this producer regularly for the past few years and this harvest has been their favorite.
