Katia Duke, owner of her generations-old coffee farm, is a woman creating unique new experiences within the coffee production world. This lot, a uniquely-processed coffee which takes the liquid excess from another batch of anaerobic fermented coffee (“mossto” - full of different yeasts and microbial cultures), ferments for 18-24 hours. The result is a vibrant and rich tasting experience featuring notes of stone fruit and chocolate. In addition to crafting this incredible new coffee, Katia is a leader in her community where she has lead efforts such as building a school and creating a local nutritional program. We are proud to celebrate and uplift this visionary in coffee and truly hope you enjoy our take on its preparation.
