Not quite an advent calendar, but this is the closest to one that we'll release this year! This set will include 30g of all of the coffee's from Gout & Datura that we released for our French UL release! There will only be 10 sets available, so get it before it's gone! This is also the first dime bag set release with 30g bags instead of 20g. Thank you for everything who gave their input on that!

Here's what's in the set!

1. Datura - Washed Oreti Estate Peabody- Thika, Kenya

This coffee had actually not been officially released yet, so we're really excited to be offering it! This is their first Kenyan coffee! Estates in Kenya are pretty rare, so they're always a good find! If you like Kenyans, this one is a must!

Tasting notes: Blackcurrant, Hibiscus, Fig leaf, Green Apple

2. Datura - Gesha Village OMA natural - Bench Maji, Ethiopia

"We selected this exceptional Gesha from the Oma block of Gesha Village for its sweet, floral and fruity profile. With intense notes of blueberry jam, tangerine and candied fruits, complemented by delicate hints of stone fruits and a unique perfume-like aroma, it offers a smooth texture and a refined, memorable taste. This coffee from the Oma block reflects the meticulous work done at this famous farm on a magnificent terroir.

Process

In this process, the coffee cherries are sun-dried whole in thin layers on raised African beds. A parabolic plastic cover is used in the evening to improve airflow. The natural drying process takes 18 to 30 days."

Tasting notes: Blueberry Jam, Tangerine, Candied fruits, Stone fruits, Perfume like

3. Datura - Hacienda La Esmeralda Washed Noria - Jaramillo, Panama

Hacienda La Esmeralda. Without them, the stunning Gesha variety might not be what it is today. In 2004, the Peterson family won the Best of Panama competition with their exceptional Gesha coffee, a variety previously unknown in the region. This iconic farm has been crucial in shaping the global reputation of Panama’s Gesha coffee and remains one of the world’s most renowned farms.

Noria 3WG is an elegant and complex Gesha, reflecting the essence of Esmeralda. Its vibrant acidity brings out delicate notes of jasmine tea, bergamot, apricot and tangerine, ending in a long, satisfying red fruit-like aftertaste.

Tasting notes: Jasmine, Bergamot, Apricot, Tangerine

4. Datura - Hacienda La Esmeralda Washed Leon - Jaramillo, Panama

Leon 4WG is a pure Gesha with remarkable aromatic clarity. Expect complex notes of violet candy, bergamot, tangy raspberry and a refined finish with hints of white peach and floral undertones.

Tasting Notes: Violet, Bergamot, Raspberry, White Peach, Orange

5. Goût & Co - Buku Sayisa Supernatural - Guji, Ethiopia

Super natural is a sort of slow dry natural process where the beds are consistently turned to avoid overly fermenty flavors. This is the lightest roast of a super natural I've found and is definitely something I'd recommend if you don't mind a little funk, but also don't like funky naturals!

Tasting notes: Purple Floral, Pineapple, Grapefruit, Blackcurrant

6. Goût & Co - Refisa Washed Ethiopian - West Arsi, Ethiopia

This is from the same region as the gara kone that I had from them on my sub, which was really nice. Subtle, but really sweet with some nice florals/citrus

Tasting notes: Jasmine, Citrus, Cane Sugar, Sweet
